I joined the BBC from school and worked for BBC Outside Broadcasts as a Vision Engineer and Engineering Manager. As EM I lit a wide variety of programmes from the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures and Grange Hill to Songs of Praise, The Royal Variety Performance and The BBC Proms. I left the BBC in 2001 and have worked as a freelance Lighting Director since then. My credits as a freelancer range from cinema broadcasts of NT Live performances and Royal Opera House productions to Carols from Kings and Cardiff Singer of the World and the Young Musician competitions.
I have been the lighting director for many royal occasions including Royal Weddings and The Coronation of King Charles III
Awards include BAFTAs, Royal Television Society Awards and Knight of Illumination Awards
